Family Record, Merge Tab

The Merge tab allows users to merge families or move student(s) to another family. 

Please Note: when families are merged, the From Family and all data will be removed from the system.


How to Merge Families

  1. From the Family Record, select the Merge tab
  2. Enter the family ID that will be merging from in the From Family field
  3. Enter the family ID that will be merging to in the To Family field
  4. Portal Info to Retain
    • From Family - the parent portal information under the "From Family" will be retained
    • To Family - the parent portal information under the "To Family" will be retained
  5. Click Show Families
  6. When the families display, select which family member(s) from the From Family will need to be merged with the To Family
    • To move a child to the To Family, place a check-mark to the left of the name
    • To merge a child with a child in the To Family, select the child from the drop-down and place a check-mark next to merge
  7. Click Save
